Those years shaped my culinary voice and taught me one truth: great food doesn’t need to be complicated to be life-changing.
When My Health Became the Priority
About five years ago, something shifted. Even though I lived in the world of food, I didn’t feel good. My energy was low, my health wasn’t where I wanted it to be, and honestly, I didn’t like how I looked or how I felt moving through my day. Like many people, I was stuck in a cycle of convenience eating and sugar highs that always crashed.
That’s when I committed to a strict ketogenic lifestyle. No shortcuts. No “I’ll start tomorrow.” I needed to reclaim my health, and keto became the path that helped me do it.
The changes didn’t happen overnight, but they came. I felt lighter, clearer, and stronger. My confidence grew again. My relationship with food became healthier, not smaller. Instead of feeling deprived, I felt empowered. And I realized something big:
