Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 jalapeño peppers halved and seeded
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 slices bacon cut in half
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, slightly mounding it in the center.
  • Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with half a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
  • Arrange poppers on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes, until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbling.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

These bacon-wrapped poppers can also be cooked in an air fryer at 375°F for about 12–15 minutes for extra crispiness.
