Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage pork or turkey
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt.
  • Mix thoroughly using your hands or a sturdy spoon until ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Form mixture into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  • Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with sugar-free ranch or spicy mustard for dipping if desired.

Notes

These sausage balls freeze beautifully. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best texture.
