This keto-friendly Honey-Glazed Ham is a show-stopping centerpiece for Christmas or any holiday feast. It features a rich, caramelized glaze made with sugar-free honey and warm spices, giving the ham a sweet and savory flavor without the carbs.
1/3cupsugar-free honey substitutesuch as keto honey syrup
2tbspbrown erythritol sweetener
1tbspDijon mustard
1tspapple cider vinegar
1/2tspground cinnamon
1/4tspground cloves
1/4tspblack pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a roasting pan with foil and place a roasting rack inside. Set ham cut-side down on the rack.
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add sugar-free honey, brown erythritol, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, cloves, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Brush half of the glaze evenly over the ham, making sure it seeps into the cuts between slices if spiral-cut.
Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil, baste with more glaze, and continue baking uncovered for another 45–60 minutes, basting every 20 minutes, until heated through and caramelized.
For a glossy finish, broil for 2–3 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning. Remove from oven and rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Serve warm with any extra glaze drizzled over the slices.
Notes
This glaze delivers all the holiday sweetness of traditional honey ham with none of the sugar. Pair with roasted Brussels sprouts or cauliflower mash for a full keto Christmas feast.
