Ingredients

Sausage Filling

  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage sugar-free

Biscuit Dough

  • 2 cups almond flour fine
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cook sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in eggs, melted butter, and shredded cheddar to form a thick dough.
  • Fold cooked sausage into the dough until evenly distributed.
  • Scoop dough into 8 mounds on the baking sheet. Bake 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes

These freeze well and reheat perfectly in the air fryer. Add jalapeños or extra cheese for flavor variations.
