  • 2 cups kale chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Heat a soup pot over medium heat and brown the Italian sausage until fully cooked.
  • Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add the chopped kale and cook for 5–7 minutes, until tender.
  • Stir in the heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Simmer for an additional 3–5 minutes.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning before serving warm.

Notes

Add a pinch of crushed red pepper for heat, or substitute spinach for kale if preferred. This soup reheats beautifully for meal prep!
